Towns & Villages in the New Forest

We are conveniently situated within a 10 - 20 minute drive of many delightful towns and villages, each with its own unique charm and attractions.

Brockenhurst - the largest village in the New Forest, dating from the Bronze Age. High Street full of shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants with a delightful watersplash at the end, which occasionally becomes impassable to vehicles after heavy rain.

Lymington - A Georgian trading port with a vibrant High Street, shops, and restaurants and a great Saturday market. It is also a major yachting centre with three marinas and a ferry to the Isle of Wight.

Beaulieu - Home to the National Motor Museum and the famous Abbey, Beaulieu is a must-visit for car enthusiasts and history buffs. The village has a delightful main street and a well stocked garden centre serving delicious food.

Bucklers Hard - an 18th century shipbuilding village where boats for Nelson's navy were built. As well as a museum you will find delightful walks and a pub serving food, drink and ice creams.

New Milton - A town between the forest and sea, offering diverse shops and a regular town market.

Lyndhurst - the gateway to the New Forest with independent shops as well as pubs and cafes and many walks nearby.
