The Old Chapel

The Old Chapel is the main portion of a beautiful Baptist Chapel built in 1835, deconsecrated in 1965 and subsequently carefully converted and renovated.

It offers a large, bright and stylish open‑plan studio layout designed for comfort and relaxation with separate areas for eating, sleeping and relaxing. It is all on the ground floor and is dog friendly.

It sleeps up to four guests plus an infant.

  • The seating area has a sofa, WiFi, a smart TV and board games as well as some children's toys. There is central heating and electric 'wood burning' stove for the winter and a fan for the summer.
  • The kitchen includes a cooker with hob and oven, a microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and a coffee machine. A few breakfast items are also provided.
  • The dining area includes a table and chairs for six with a highchair available on request.
  • There is a super comfy king size bed, a day bed that opens into two full size single beds and a travel cost, which is available if required.
  • A separate bathroom with a walk-in shower, bath, WC, handbasin together with fluffy towels for all guests.
  • The entrance is through the old porch in the centre of the building.
  • There is seating outside where ponies and donkeys can often be seen walking by and parking for two cars.
  • Check-in is between 3 pm and 10 pm. Checkout is by 10 am.
