BY CAR:-

From the north and east -

From the M27 leave at Junction 1 signposted the New Forest and Lyndhurst. From Lyndhurst follow signs to Brockenhurst and then Sway. Before you get to Sway village (and before you reach the Hare & Hounds) turn right onto the B3055 Pitmore Lane, then 2nd right into Coombe Lane.

When you arrive at Coombe Lane, you should look out for the junction with Chapel Lane - the Old Chapel is then immediately on your left across a cattle grid onto a gravel courtyard.          

From the west -

Leave the A31 at Picket post, signposted to Burley. Stay on this road, crossing under the A35 then turn right onto Wilverley Road signposted to Sway. Go through Sway village then turn left. After you pass the Hare & Hounds on your right, turn right onto the B3055 Pitmore Lane, then 2nd right into Coombe Lane.

When you arrive at Coombe Lane, you should look out for the junction with Chapel Lane - the Old Chapel is then immediately on your left across a cattle grid onto a gravel courtyard.

BY TRAIN:-

We are about a 20 minute walk from Sway train station. The walk is on pavements and then a wide grassy verge alongside minor roads.

if you prefer a faster train service, then you may wish to arrive at Brockenhurst train station which has faster trains from London and the West. You would need to get a taxi from the train station. There are sometimes taxis waiting at Brockenhurst station, but it’s better to pre book.
