Rhinefield Ornamental Drive - this leaves the A35 2.75 miles south west of Lyndhurst and heads towards Brockenhurst. It's a picturesque route renowned for it's stunning scenery. There many huge and beautiful trees including coast redwoods, giant sequoia, black and red spruce. The Tall Trees Trail is a clearly marked 1.5 mile walk starting close to the Blackwater car park.

Hurst Castle - a Tudor Castle built by Henry VIII as a coastal defence and used as a prison for King Charles I before his execution, then guarding the Needles Passage during 2 World Wars. Choose a leisurely short ferry ride or a 2 mile walk along Hurst Spit.
